Description: This group will be for discussion about any fiction novel topic you want to talk about. Whether you want to discuss an oldie but goodie or something new, something your thinking about writing or are currently engaged in. The hurdles and struggles. The up’s and down’s. The triumphs and the heartaches. The talk will be endless. We can talk about self publishing and trying to reach traditional publishers and agents. We can talk about how our ideas turn into spectacular novels. Whatever you guys and gals want to talk about. Let’s do it.

Hey everyone! I just today joined writingroom thinking that it'd be a good way too meet more writers and possibly give and receive some advice. Just saying hi! If you're bored and want to get to know me better, check out my profile and/or writings, and I'll do the same for you. Thanks!

Hello, Ireensees. Sorry fir not responding sooner. I have been busy, as we all have. I totally understand the one page issue. Try treating your chapter as if it were its own novel. break it down into many subchapters if you will. If that doesn't work than you need to give your work more mental time then try again with the subchapters. It is hard being a part time writer.

@ Ireensees. I realize you want to be more productive, but at the same time a page a day is nothing to be disappointed in; if you write a page a day for a whole year you've got 365 pages and most likely a finished novel by that time. I don't know why you have trouble sitting still; could be that you allow too many things, such as family and phone calls, etc., to interrupt you?

Hello everyone, I just joined writingroom and so far it seems like a good place to throw around some idea's. I am not a professional, I have only had two poems published back in my early twenties and am working on a mainstream fiction novel right now, my only issue is I get writers block really often and I sometimes have a hard time sitting still long enough to really get more than a page a day done, if that. Any suggestions anyone has on being able to stay focused for longer periods of time to write ?

Hello all. I am no expert. I am not the best in this profession. However, I am here to talk if anyone wishes. Don't be shy.
