I am 17yrs old and I recently joined this site!I will try to keep this brief as I know some people write like an essay on themselves and seeing I have a short attention spam and some reading this may do also I'll keep it short and sweet.
I have recently moved to france meaning I have tried to write in french which is hard. I have always had a passion for writing but I never could get myself down to writing my own story it was always writing from having a task to follow from school! I wanted to keep my writing skills in practise so I joined this site and have created a group called new writers- please join if you would like!
So thats about it.... I hope you are still reading by this point!
For those who love photography read onI love the fact that an image can be stronger than words. Modern life has become more visuel and is a great way to relay a strong deep message. However, with photography I find it hard to capture whats real. In my art class, we just studied these hyper-realists who projected an image onto a canvas and repainted over it. The aim was to make the painting more realistic than the photo. There was another artist who did the complete opposite. He tried to make his painting more blurred than the photo itself. I love this question as to whether infact we can capture real life on a photo. Is it as simple as that?
Anyways, I've just got started. Im trying to post a new photo a week but I have also posted other photos already. If you like photography would be cool to hear you thoughts on my work, or get some feedback--> take a look at the link.
Hope to hear from you soon. As I said Im no artist, Im just trying something new...
      Thanks Josie.

What is this life if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare.
No time to stand beneath the boughs
And stare as long as sheep or cows.
No time to see, when woods we pass,
Where squirrels hide their nuts in grass.
No time to see, in broad daylight,
Streams full of stars, like skies at night.
No time to turn at Beauty's glance,
And watch her feet, how they can dance.
No time to wait till her mouth can
Enrich that smile her eyes began.
A poor life this if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare.

        • here are some hilarious quotes:

"The depressing thing about tennis is that no matter how good i get, i'll never be as good as a wall." ~Mitch Hedberg
"What's another word for thesaurus?"~ Steven Wright
"I like to leave a message before the beep"~Steven Wright
"Statistics show that the more birthdays you have the older you get"~ unknown
"I used to be indecisive but now i'm not sure"~ Boscoe Pertwee

        • i do not care that much for hobbies apart from reading and of course now writting and sometimes running or cycling where you can be inspired to even write about that moment in your life - even now i feel this could be in a story! where you can be refreshed and breath!

        • read above then make an overall conclusion and judgement!

Haha well about that... I didn't have time to finish (sorry :P), but I was going somewhere with the idea that she's a certain type of person that can read documents and go into them, sort of, and help the people there. The unknown man recruits and trains these people? Idk, I have no idea for most of what's going on, but we have 3 heads and lots of imagination, right? ;) Thanks for the request and I can't wait to see where this story goes! ^.^

Hello, Josie. I like your new picture and I hope you are having a wonderful summer. Thank you for translating "Who killed the roaster?" in French couple months ago. It's interesting to know that you want to write in French. I hardly know any French, but I have an idea to make a picturebook using one of my poems, translated in French as poetic as possible, as you say......some time in future. Please don't ask me why I want to do that 'cause I really don't know. Anyway, please keep nuturing yourself and enjoy your life!
