I do not know what is poetry.But I am composing for more than 50 years. I do not compose at own will. An invisible being whispers me and my hand pics a pen to write her dictation. Really, I am still confused what exactly the poetry is. I never intended to be known as a poet. But people of my country call me a devil poet.

Poem is like heart, Prose is like brain
Both can express joy as well as pain
To acquire the former we must strain
The latter comes after an easy bargain.

What is Poetry? Poetry is like the Sax solo in a jazz number as it wails holy harmonies into the air. Poetry is like beautiful skin to dress to dress the soul. Poetry is the soul! Poetry is a manifestation of tounges from the vistas of divinity straight through your fingure tips. Poetry is life, Poetry is death, Poetry is heaven and hell in the palm of your hand Poetry is Love, Hate, salvation, damnation and everything in between; a purgitory of passions for the lyric and pure. Poetry is in the empty spaces of words and echoes of gods. Poetry is the Infinite! Poetry is heliocentric! Poetry is all this and much more!

What Is Poetry
Poetry is the absolute beauty of the human heart
expressing emotion in a form that delights
and leaves the reader with a feeling of contentment
in one spectrum,
and a feeling of remorse in another.
No other form of writing has the ability
and power to inspire the emotion created
through poetry.
