Sleep

Hush, my dear

Go to sleep.

Sleep when the sun sets

And clouds fill up the night sky

Sleep when the flowers wilt

And sleep when the wolf howls its melancholy tune.

I know you want to save them all tonight

I know it kills you to hear their cries

But sleep, dear one,

The sun will rise tomorrow

The moon will illuminate us once more

Flowers bloom best after rain

And the wolf,

The wolf will be okay

All alone,

It will howl once more

And find its way.

So sleep,

For tomorrow will be a better day.
