MARSHALL'S POEM

There is a minister in my life that, even though I am not a member of his church, he has expressed support that I may never comprehend.  Marshall is a very special person and this poem is my way of telling him thank you.  I wish I could share this man and his way of life with the world.  It would make it a much better place.

MARSHALL'S POEM

How do I say thanks,

to a special friend like you.

every one since Adam,

Knows that words are much too few.

You were there for me in the past

When I was deep in need.

For support from friends not there,

Reacting to my deed.

Your friendship reached out to me,

With acceptance of who I am

You judged not the person I displayed,

For you would know the inner man.

Once more I ran afoul,

Again I broke the rules

Again you came with love,

And support with all your tools.

So how do I say thanks

for all the love you send.

God knows that I love you,

And blesses you my friend.

Sounds like the good Marshall certainly deserves a grateful dedication of some sort, which you didn't fall short of.

Wonderful ode. That he did something right tells us in this poem that he is to be praised. What a good man he is.
