Life Begins
Life begins -
the end emerges (with thoughts)
A stone to symbol -
serene, bright (stem to grow)
All fortune crumbles -
a shell of paper (words that fade)
Chipped paint falls into a hand
uneven shapes (bleed and stain)
Smooth fingertips
wet dirt piles (rows and rows)
A somber march
heavy breath footsteps (one by one)
A print in the soft world
wash away – life begins

I loved the whole poem but I will pick -heavy breath footsteps. As my favorite line. Really beautiful poem.
