Assassin ( part two )
He wound the window down an inch
To let the smoke escape
Then wished he'd been less eager
With his imbibement of the grape

His head was throbbing violently
From the excesses of last night
Though new he must now concentrate
As the timing was real tight

A car rounded the corner
Then preceded so to park
It made its presence obvious
As the street was looking stark

Two men then left the vehicle
Then walked to nearest house
He had them closely in his sights
As he would a pair of grouse

The taller he new at a glance
He was a target on his list
His accomplice kept his back to view
His face he therefore missed

Silently he left the car
Then started down the street
And as he came in close to them
Each turned as if to greet

Two wistful puffs of smoke emerged
Each fell unto the ground
He walked back quickly to the car
Without a single sound

Very suspenseful--very good! A story + a character study!
