Drive
George didn't go to work
That Wednesday afternoon
He had been there in the morning
His office desk was strewn

The judge had said embezzlement
So that then was his crime
Though he was simply not a man
To just sit out his time

He drove towards the coast now
With one thing on his mind
An end to all the shame and hurt
He needed now to find

And as the coast road ended
His speed it did increase
This life that he had ruined
He needed now to cease

No blink of any break light
As his car left from the edge
His resolve had never faltered
To complete his deadly pledge
