Morning Light

Morning light invades my space

With beams that flicker o’er my face

To drag me from my dreams come true

Another day to face anew

 Stark reality now thegame

The humdrum routine just the same

Targets set to beat and reach

So far from dreams of distant beach

The mail to open then to deal

If luck onside a hurried meal

Until the pillow once more calls

Then I can view those wondrous falls
