Onward to the Sands of Dranume part 10
As the stars were lost to sunlight
Each were roused to start this day
Some were reeling from excesses
Of last evenings wanton play

They had their night of pleasure
Now the quest once more began
There were many miles yet to travel
Till the forming of the clan

Though this was one small caravan
There were hundreds more on route
It would take a mighty army
Now to settle this dispute

From the Northern tip of Kharnam
Till the Southern land of Guip
The Fillimen were on the move
By land or sea by ship

Never in their history
Had they risen all as one
They would not part again now
Till Farrant’s rule was gone

Young Randson was the worst for wear
Atop his lively Escamant
He was suffering for the Gend he’d drank
Through the merriment and chant

It was all he could to stay atop
As it hovered, danced and preened
He found his eyes kept closing
As his posture seen to lean

Carnor pulled beside him
Poked fun at what he saw
He laughed as the youngster struggled
At the animals pitch and yore

“You have much to learn yet youngster
And your training will be swift
I will keep my eye upon you
And if needed give a lift”
