Teen Chat?
Mandy didn't go straight home
That Friday after school
Instead she went to meet him
Beside the quarry pool,

They had chatted now for days
In the teen chat meeting room
He said he had to see her
Said it must be real soon,

He sent her several pictures
Looked cute and seventeen
She liked the way he did his hair
Looked trendy, sharp and clean,

She crossed the gorse strewn wasteland
The path was overgrown
At one point even stumbled
Hurt her knee on a jagged stone,

A pen dropped from her satchel
As the gate she scaled in one
It was topped with rusty barbed wire
A thread on her blazer undone,

The clues were now coming together
As the divers searched the lake
She was not the first on the internet
To be fooled by a profile fake.

Very interesting, and what a message it sends across to people who read it. This kind of situation happens all the time and it's wonderful you put it out for people to read and think about.
